A graduate of Indiana University, Marchiol studied Telecommunications and Italian. Prior to launching TEAM Investments in 1998, she played professional volleyball in Italy. Upon her return to the States Tanya took a temporary job at golf course to determine what to do with her life after an extensive sports career. Life took an unexpected turn when a golf cart flipped and crushed Tanya's ankle while she was working. The debilitating injury left her immobilized and on strict bed rest. During her time in the hospital, she flipped through several real estate books given to her as a gift by her mother. Tanya soon discovered a new passion, real estate. After an agonizing six months of surgeries, Tanya took her real estate exam and started buying and selling properties. Her neighbor at the time, Justin Lucas of the Arizona Cardinals, heard about what she was doing and asked for her help. That year, he bought 13 houses and TEAM Investments was born. Tanya developed a system for educating and empowering her clients to intelligently handle their financial and business matters. Tanya found her niche and hasn't looked back since.

In addition to her success in business, Tanya is also an avid community activist. She is owner of Capos Rescue, a nonprofit which helps large breed dogs that need to be loved and cared for. Together with organizations like Best Friends Animal Society, Tanya donates time and funds to rescue and shelter abused or abandoned pets. She was newly appointed the spokesperson for the largest no kill animal shelter in the world, North Shore Animal League of America. Tanya is also a breast cancer awareness advocate. She supports the Susan G. Komen Foundation and sponsors several events that champion breast cancer research.

In her spare time she enjoys traveling and playing with her three Cane Corsos; Vita, Dolce, and Capo. Where does it all come from?
